Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Manager, Competitive Intelligence to lead research and analysis supporting Sales & Marketing and corporate strategy initiatives.

This remote role can be filled by candidates across the United States who can work Eastern Time business hours and present findings to executive audiences. You will build and maintain competitive profiles, manage projects, and distribute insights through leadership meetings, webinars, and board materials, while cultivating relationships

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Business, accounting, finance, engineering, economics.
• Master's degree preferred MBA, accounting, finance, economics.
• Two (2) years or more management consulting, leading corporate strategy, strategic planning and/or strategic initiatives required.
• Seven (7) years or more of professional experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide robust research and analysis to support Sales & Marketing initiatives and Key Intelligence Topics and Industry Disrupting Trends
• Communicate with stakeholders across the company to ensure that distributed intelligence provided is actionable and timely
• Utilize intelligence garnered from primary and secondary research activities to develop and maintain detailed strategic and operational profiles on key competitors, suppliers, partners and designated key intelligence topics
• Support intelligence distribution activities, including presentations to Ryder’s Leadership Team, webinars, and Board-level documentation
• Continuously identify and maintain a database of relevant source of primary and secondary research, including industry analysts, market research firms, conferences, and others
• Performs other duties as assigned.
