Confidential Careers is seeking a Compensation & Benefits Specialist to advance the design, benchmarking, and governance of our compensation programs. You will partner with HR leadership, Finance, Payroll, and Business Leaders to ensure pay structures align with strategy and market conditions.

The role emphasizes salary structure design, market benchmarking, and annual planning, with a focus on internal pay equity and benefits competitiveness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business, finance, or related field.
• 3+ years in compensation analysis or total rewards.
• Experience with salary surveys and market benchmarking.
• Experience with salary range development and annual review cycles.
• Manufacturing/shipbuilding experience preferred.
• Advanced Excel; familiarity with HRIS and data visualization.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and recommend compensation policies, guidelines, and programs aligned with objectives.
• Design, maintain, and evaluate salary structures, job grades, pay ranges, and evaluation methods.
• Conduct external benchmarking and participate in salary surveys for market competitiveness.
• Analyze internal pay equity and recommend corrective actions.
• Support annual compensation planning and market adjustments.
• Develop compensation cost models and scenario analyses with Finance.
• Provide analysis for hires, promotions, transfers, and retention cases.
