Job summary

J.S. Held, a global consulting firm, seeks an experienced Compensation Analyst to lead internal/external market alignment, design compensation programs, and support budgets. The role emphasizes equity, competitiveness, and cross-functional collaboration with Payroll and Finance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Mathematics, Finance or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience with compensation methodology and analysis.
• Experience with creating reports and extracting and analyzing data from an HRIS system.
• Experience in a large, global professional services firm is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assess J.S. Held’s alignment with internal and external compensation data to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness.
• Design, implement, and monitor compensation programs including base pay, incentive pay and total rewards.
• Conduct job analysis and evaluation to determine salary bands and ranges.
• Review job descriptions and level within the job hierarchy.
• Partner with stakeholders to develop compensation plans that attract, reward, and retain talent.
• Collaborate with Payroll and Finance to ensure efficient program administration.
• Generate analytical compensation reports to support budgets and strategic decisions.
• Provide reports and clarification of policies to HR and leaders.
• Administer annual compensation activities such as merit increases and bonus plans.
• Provide market research when needed.
• Monitor compensation trends and ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
• Assist with ad hoc requests and special projects.
