Job summary
Chainlink Labs is seeking an experienced Compensation Lead to own the operating engine of broad-based compensation globally. You will manage offers, promotions, market pricing, and salary structures, ensuring decisions are data-backed and defensible.
You will collaborate with People Partners, Talent Acquisition, Finance, and Legal to elevate Compensation from execution to recommendation-led. This hands-on builder role requires a strategic thinker who can move between analytics and execution,
Qualifications
- 7+ years of broad-based compensation experience in a global org.
- Own compensation programs for offers, promotions, cycles, pricing, and salary structures.
- Strong benchmarking and market-pricing expertise with major surveys.
- Advanced Google Sheets or Excel modelling; structured data experience.
- Turn complex compensation questions into clear options and recommendations.
- Experience advising senior leaders on compensation decisions.
- Excellent communication across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Builder mindset using data, automation, and AI to improve processes.
- Collaborate with People Partners, Talent Acquisition, Finance, Legal, and HRIS/People Tech.
Responsibilities
- Own the execution and evolution of broad-based compensation programs.
- Lead global pay equity and job architecture initiatives.
- Build compensation models, dashboards, and analyses.
- Provide executive-ready recommendations for offers and escalations.
- Partner with People Tech on migration to Pave and data infrastructure.
- Design accessible compensation views for managers and teams.
