Job summary

BH Management Services, LLC is seeking a Community Manager for Build to Rent Homes. The role is remote with regular site visits across one to three communities, handling day-to-day financial, administrative, leasing, marketing and maintenance operations while upholding BH standards and delivering excellent customer service.

You will monitor budgets, oversee maintenance, coordinate with regional leadership, and drive occupancy targets while ensuring compliance and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of property management experience.
• Ability to travel up to 75% as required by role.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced MS Office/Excel and computer skills.
• Prior leadership experience required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect communities to ensure standards and compliance; enforce safety and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with maintenance to align move-in dates with renter timelines.
• Analyze market trends and implement leasing strategies to meet occupancy goals.
• Monitor budgets, forecasts, and expenses; ensure timely financial reporting.
• Manage resident relations and respond to service requests to maintain satisfaction.
• Coordinate repairs and preventative maintenance; inspect units and supervise vendors.
• Partner with Regional Manager to prepare operating budgets and monitor payables.
• Prepare weekly/monthly operational and financial reports.
