Job summary

BH Management, LLC is seeking a Service Manager Build to Rent to coordinate maintenance across multiple communities. The role involves scheduling, directing maintenance staff, and ensuring safe, high-quality repairs.

You will oversee inventories, budgeting, and safety programs while collaborating with the Community Manager Build to Rent. A strong background in HVAC, EPA Type II, and pool of certifications is preferred; travel is a key component.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years or more experience with progressive maintenance, safety, and all major types of heating and air conditioning.
• HVAC, EPA Type II, and CPO certifications are highly valued.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple sites, and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Develop weekly/daily maintenance schedules and assign work to staff.
• Tour properties daily to identify needed maintenance and safety hazards.
• Oversee repairs and ensure quality workmanship across sites.
• Maintain inventory of tools and supplies and monitor maintenance budget.
• Coordinate with Community Manager Build to Rent on staffing and safety programs.
• Travel between communities up to 95% as needed.
