Communication Service for the Deaf, Inc. is seeking Call Center Representatives (Communication Assistants) for its Telephone Relay Service Centers. Positions can be fully remote in Minnesota, with both full-time and part-time options.

Training is online, 4 weeks, Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–3:00 PM. Starting wage is $14 per hour for eligible applicants living in Minnesota. Responsibilities include accepting and placing relay calls, ensuring quality service, and translating ASL to English.

Qualifikationen

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must pass an essential skills assessment.
• Type at 60 words per minute with 95% accuracy.
• Available to work varied schedules; weekends/holidays possible.
• Excellent customer service experience and a calm demeanor.

Aufgaben

• Accept and place relay calls for consumers.
• Ensure the highest level of quality service.
• Hear audio and transcribe to text.
• Read aloud messages and type responses.
• Translate ASL messages to English.
• Convey caller feelings through voice inflection.
• Relay call contents accurately without interrupting.
• Maintain TRS quality standards.
• Report technical issues to staff.
• Maintain consumer confidentiality.
