Job summary

CSD Call Centers is hiring Call Center Representatives (Communication Assistants) to support the Deaf community through TRS calls. Roles are fully remote in Minnesota with a structured training program starting November 30, 2026, 4 weeks online.

Positions include full-time and part-time hours, with shift differentials for overnight and bilingual agents. A high school diploma, 60 wpm typing, and the ability to work varied schedules are required. No sales or tech support.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to hear using audio/telephone equipment.
• Ability to read text aloud from a computer.
• Strong typing speed and accuracy.
• Ability to learn complex relay software.

Responsibilities

• Accept and place relay calls for consumers.
• Ensure high quality service for all consumers.
• Hear audio and transcribe to text.
• Read aloud messages typing other party’s messages.
• Translate ASL messages to English.
• Convey caller emotions through voice.
• Relay call content accurately without interfering.
• Maintain TRS quality standards.
• Report technical issues to staff.
• Maintain consumer confidentiality.
