Job summary

BGIS is seeking a Commissioning Agent to join our team as a remote role in the United States. The position focuses on commissioning mission critical equipment such as power distribution, UPS, generators, BAS/BMS, and HVAC systems.

The role requires up to 75% travel nationwide and abroad to client sites, while some activities occur remotely. The candidate should have strong knowledge of electrical/electronic and mechanical systems, with experience in industry equipment testing and commissioning

Qualifications

• 7 years of experience in electrical power distribution or mechanical systems.
• Experience diagnosing and solving construction and operational problems.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and testing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform design reviews of systems.
• Develop and write startup and commissioning procedures.
• QA/QC of equipment installation and documentation.
• Conduct construction observations and develop functional test plans.
• Execute tests for electrical and mechanical systems per standards.
• Train plant operations and maintenance personnel.
