Job summary

BGIS is seeking a Commissioning Agent to join our team as a remote-based professional in the United States. The role requires 75% travel to client sites for training, meetings and on-site commissioning activities across national and international locations.

The candidate should have 7 years of industry experience in electrical power distribution or mechanical systems, an AA degree or equivalent, and strong skills in MS Word, Excel and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Experience with MS Word and Excel is required.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Knowledge of building codes and construction industry standards.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Willingness to travel 75% of the time.
• Must have or be able to obtain a passport.

Responsibilities

• Perform design reviews of systems.
• Develop, oversee and write startup and commissioning policies and procedures.
• QA/QC of the equipment installation.
• Perform construction observations and develop functional test plans.
• Execute tests for electrical and mechanical systems per standards.
