Job summary

Zscaler is seeking a Commercial Sales Engineer to join our East team in a remote role. You will create and deliver technical product presentations, gather customer requirements, lead evaluations, and design test plans with customers.

Ideal candidates have cybersecurity and networking experience, 2+ years as a Sales Engineer or integrator, a BS in Computer Science or related field, and foundational AI/ML knowledge. Certifications and enterprise experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated curiosity and active exploration of AI tools, with a proven history of integrating new technologies to enhance daily workflows and augment problem-solving
• Proven cybersecurity and networking technical background with hands-on experience in network fundamentals such as TCP/IP, DNS, routing, VPN, and firewalls
• 2+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer or Network Systems integrator
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent working experience
• Foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies and experience leveraging, securing, or positioning AI-driven solutions to optimize outcomes within your functional domain

Responsibilities

• Create and deliver technical product presentations to prospective customers
• Gather customer technical requirements to ensure proposed solutions will meet customer goals and needs
• Lead product evaluations and custom product configurations
• Design evaluation test plans with customers and guide the process to successful outcomes
