Job summary

Zscaler, based in the United States, seeks a Commercial Sales Engineer for the East team in a remote capacity, reporting to the Manager of Sales Engineering. You will drive technical product presentations, capture customer requirements, and steer product evaluations to successful outcomes.

In this role you design test plans, tailor configurations, and help customers deploy secure, cloud-enabled solutions. A cybersecurity/networking background with AI/ML familiarity is required; advanced

Qualifications

Demonstrated curiosity and active exploration of AI tools with a history of integrating new technologies.
Proven cybersecurity and networking background with hands-on experience in TCP/IP, DNS, routing, VPN, and firewalls.
2+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer or Network Systems integrator.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent working experience.
Foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies and experience leveraging AI-driven solutions.

Responsibilities

Create and deliver technical product presentations to prospective customers.
Gather customer technical requirements to ensure solutions meet goals and needs.
Lead product evaluations and custom product configurations.
Design evaluation test plans with customers and guide the process to successful outcomes.
