Job summary

Zscaler is seeking a Commercial Sales Engineer for the East team. This remote role reports to the Manager of Sales Engineering and collaborates with Sales, Customer Success, Solution Architects, and Technology Partnerships to drive cloud security solutions.

You will create and deliver technical presentations, gather customer requirements, and guide product evaluations to successful outcomes, helping customers accelerate secure digital transformation.

Qualifications

• Foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies and experience leveraging, securing, or positioning AI-driven solutions to optimize outcomes within your functional domain
• 2+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer or Network Systems integrator
• Proven cybersecurity and networking technical background with hands-on experience in network fundamentals such as TCP/IP, DNS, routing, VPN, and firewalls
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent working experience

Responsibilities

• Create and deliver technical product presentations to prospective customers
• Gather customer technical requirements to ensure proposed solutions will meet customer goals and needs
• Lead product evaluations and custom product configurations
• Design evaluation test plans with customers and guide the process to successful outcomes
