Job summary

Zscaler is seeking a Commercial Sales Engineer to join our East team. This is a remote role reporting to the Manager of Sales Engineering. You will work with cross-functional teams to drive secure cloud adoption and demonstrate the power of Zscaler’s solutions.

You will create technical presentations, gather requirements, lead evaluations, and design test plans with customers to achieve successful outcomes. This role emphasizes collaboration, customer obsession, and a growth mindset.

Qualifications

• Curiosity and active exploration of AI tools with a history of integrating new technologies to enhance workflows.
• Proven cybersecurity and networking background with hands-on experience in TCP/IP, DNS, routing, VPN and firewalls.
• 2+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer or Network Systems integrator.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent working experience.
• Foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies and experience leveraging, securing, or positioning AI-driven solutions.

Responsibilities

• Create and deliver technical product presentations to prospective customers.
• Gather customer technical requirements to ensure proposed solutions meet goals.
• Lead product evaluations and custom configurations.
• Design evaluation test plans with customers and guide the process to successful outcomes.
