Job summary

Zscaler is hiring a Senior Sales Engineer for the Enterprise West team. This remote role reports to the Manager of Sales Engineering. You will present technical solutions, collect customer requirements, and guide evaluations to ensure secure, cloud-enabled outcomes.

A strong cybersecurity and networking background is required, with AI fluency a plus. Ideal candidates are owner-minded, customer-obsessed, and capable of navigating ambiguity while driving hands-on execution.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated curiosity and active exploration of AI tools, with a proven history of integrating new technologies to enhance daily workflows and problem solving.
• 7+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer or Network Systems integrator.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent working experience.
• Proven cybersecurity and networking technical background with hands-on experience in TCP/IP, DNS, routing, VPN, and firewalls.

Responsibilities

• Create and deliver technical product presentations to prospective customers.
• Gather customer technical requirements to ensure proposed solutions meet customer goals and needs.
• Lead product evaluations and custom product configurations.
• Design evaluation test plans with customers and guide the process to successful outcomes.
