Job summary

Zscaler is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer for the Majors West team. This remote role collaborates with global teams to demonstrate cloud security solutions, tailor evaluations, and guide customers from concept to implementation.

You will translate complex cybersecurity concepts into actionable demonstrations and drive customer success. Responsibilities include crafting technical presentations, collecting core requirements, and leading evaluations.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer or Network Systems integrator
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent working experience
Proven cybersecurity and networking technical background with hands-on experience in TCP/IP, DNS, routing, VPN, and firewalls
Industry standard certifications such as CISSP, CCNA, Network+, CCNP, CCIE, or Security+
Demonstrate strong AI fluency by leveraging coding assistants, LLMs, and Generative AI tools to accelerate troubleshooting, solution design, automation, and customer problem-solving, while applying sound technical judgment to validate outputs.

Responsibilities

Create and deliver technical product presentations to prospective customers
Gather customer technical requirements to ensure proposed solutions will meet customer goals and needs
Lead product evaluations and custom product configurations
Design evaluation test plans with customers and guide the process to successful outcomes
