Job summary

ABB is seeking a Proposals Specialist for the Commercial Contractor segment in the United States. This remote role focuses on building clean, competitive proposals by analyzing RFPs and aligning strategy with profitability and customer needs.

You will partner with factory proposal teams, application engineers, product managers, and Sales Managers to guide proposal strategy and ensure executable, high‑quality orders. A bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in electrical distribution sales are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, preferably in Engineering or related field.
• Strong technical expertise in electrical distribution systems and ABB product portfolio.
• At least 5 years of experience in electrical distribution sales or related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• Proficiency with digital tools for remote work (e.g., Outlook, Salesforce, Teams).

Responsibilities

• Create clean, competitive, compliant, and compelling proposals for Commercial Contractor projects.
• Collaborate with factory proposal teams, application engineers, product managers, and Sales Managers to guide proposal strategy.
• Lead project strategy and risk meetings to ensure alignment on priorities and profitability.
• Support ongoing development and ensure awarded projects are executable and profitable from the start.
