Job summary

ABB is seeking a remote Sales Proposal Specialist to focus on the Commercial Construction market in the United States. You will develop complex proposals by analyzing RFPs, align with ABB processes, and balance customer needs with profitability.

You'll collaborate with factory proposal teams, application engineers, product managers, and Sales Managers to guide strategy and ensure executable, high-probability opportunities. A strong technical background in electrical distribution is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in electrical distribution or related sales/quotations.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Proficiency with digital tools for remote work (Outlook, Salesforce, Teams).
• Must be authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Create clean, competitive, compliant, and compelling proposals for Commercial Contractor projects.
• Partner with factory proposal teams, application engineers, product managers, and Sales Managers to guide proposal strategy.
• Organize and participate in Project Strategy and Risk Meetings to align on key priorities.
• Collaborate with project management to ensure awarded projects are executable and profitable from the start.
