Job summary

ABB is seeking a Commercial Proposal Engineer for a remote role in the United States. You will develop complex proposals for the Commercial Contractor segment, analyzing RFPs and coordinating with cross-functional teams to create competitive, compliant bids.

Leveraging a strong background in electrical distribution, you will partner with proposal resources to ensure high-probability, high-profit opportunities and executable projects from the start.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in electrical distribution or related sales/quotations.
• Proficiency with digital tools like Outlook, Salesforce, and Teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop clean, competitive proposals from RFPs for the Commercial Contractor segment.
• Collaborate with factory proposal teams, application engineers, product managers and Sales Managers to guide strategy.
• Align proposals with ABB processes to balance profitability, competitiveness and customer needs.
