Job summary

ABB Inc. in Westbrook, Maine, is seeking a Sales Proposal Specialist to lead the development of clean, competitive proposals for Commercial Construction projects in the United States.

You will analyze RFP documents, coordinate with factory proposal teams, and ensure alignment with ABB processes to win high‑probability opportunities while balancing profitability and customer needs. This remote role reports to the Sales Support Manager.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
5+ years of experience in electrical distribution sales or quotations.
Strong written and verbal communication.
Proficiency with digital remote-work tools.

Responsibilities

Create clean, competitive, compliant, and compelling proposals for projects in the Commercial Contractor segment.
Ensure alignment with ABB processes and focus on high-probability, high-profitability opportunities.
Partner with factory proposal teams, application engineers, product managers, and Sales Managers/Reps to guide proposal strategy.
Organize and participate in Project Strategy and Risk Meetings to align on key priorities and ensure project success.
