Job summary

Navigate Power and Verde Solutions seek a Commercial Utility Broker to build a client book remotely as a 1099 contractor. You’ll access 110+ supplier relationships, guide clients through electricity and natural gas offers, and close opportunities with uncapped commissions and no base salary.

You set your schedule, manage your pipeline, and pursue new business across commercial and industrial markets, with back-office support and pricing tools to help win and renew accounts.

Qualifications

• At least two years of B2B sales experience.
• Ability to prospect, build relationships with business owners and decision-makers.
• Independent worker comfortable in a remote, 1099, commission-only role.
• Energy procurement or related experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Generate your own pipeline through direct outreach, referrals, networks, and partnerships.
• Reach the right decision-makers: owners, finance leaders, facility teams.
• Review client needs to identify savings and shape recommendations.
• Present energy proposals with clear supplier differences and terms.
• Develop opportunities beyond procurement: solar, EV charging, battery storage, upgrades.
• Lead the sale from discovery to signed agreement with internal support.
• Maintain pipeline, follow up, and earn renewals and referrals.
