Job summary

Navigate Power is seeking a B2B Energy Broker to build a commercial energy client book with 110+ supplier relationships and uncapped commissions. This is a remote, 1099 independent contractor role with no base salary and commissions based on performance.

You will help commercial and industrial clients compare electricity and natural gas offers, identify savings, and expand services, including solar, EV charging, and storage, while managing your own pipeline.

Qualifications

• At least two years of sales experience, preferably B2B.
• Ability to generate business through outreach and referrals.
• Independent work discipline and remote work comfort.
• Experience in energy procurement or related field is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Generate your own pipeline: direct outreach, referrals, partnerships, and existing relationships.
• Reach the right decision-makers: engage owners, finance leaders, property managers, and facility teams.
• Turn client information into strategy: review bills, usage, contract dates to identify savings.
• Make the options clear: present electricity and natural gas proposals with clear terms.
• Develop opportunities beyond procurement: solar, EV charging, storage, and efficiency projects.
• Lead the sale through close: move from discovery to proposal and signed agreement.
• Maintain accurate pipeline records and pursue renewals and referrals.
