Navigate Power, a commercial energy broker, is hiring a remote-based Commercial Energy Broker to build your client book through 110+ supplier relationships, uncapped commissions, and the support needed to win, renew, and expand accounts.

This 1099 independent contractor role has commission-only earnings with no base salary and offers remote flexibility to manage your market and pipeline.

Qualifications

• Top candidates have at least two years of sales experience, preferably B2B.
• Able to prospect, ask for referrals, and build relationships with decision-makers.
• Strong consultative selling skills to uncover business priorities and move conversations toward a decision.
• Independent work discipline to manage pipeline, follow-up, and remote work.
• Experience in energy consulting, procurement, or related fields is valuable.

Responsibilities

• Generate your own pipeline through outreach, referrals, and networks.
• Engage decision-makers across owners, finance leaders, and facility teams.
• Review utility bills and contracts to identify savings and craft recommendations.
• Present proposals clearly with terms and market context.
• Introduce solar, EV charging, storage, and efficiency projects when appropriate.
• Lead opportunities from discovery to signed agreement with internal support.
