Job summary

Remote Collections Specialist position in the Los Angeles area within a large professional services firm. The role focuses on managing receivables, building internal and client relationships, and supporting daily collection activities.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of collections experience in professional services and excels in clear written and verbal communication under a fast-paced environment. Some in-office days may be required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of collections experience in large firms or professional services.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Organized and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with invoicing, A/R, and WIP reports.

Responsibilities

• Manage invoices through to collection using the firm’s accounting software and external billing systems.
• Coordinate with partners, billers, and billing management for daily tasks.
• Review invoice submissions, adjustments, discounts, approvals, and related issues.
• Manage partner receivable portfolios and propose optimal collection solutions.
• Identify receipts and outstanding invoices; review A/R and WIP reports daily.
