Search Group Solutions in Downtown Los Angeles seeks an Accounts Receivable Specialist to lead collections, analysis, and client relationships within a growing Accounting & Finance team. The role emphasizes proactive follow-up, accurate AR records, and collaboration with billing to resolve invoice issues.

Formación

• 2+ years of Accounts Receivable and commercial collections experience.
• Experience in a law firm or professional services environment strongly preferred.
• Strong collections experience with the ability to maintain positive client relationships.
• Strong analytical skills with aging reports and AR data.
• Ability to communicate financial information effectively to internal stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Elite 3E or similar accounting software is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Manage and monitor outstanding accounts receivable balances.
• Perform proactive follow-up on past-due accounts.
• Communicate with clients regarding invoices and payment status.
• Research and resolve billing and payment discrepancies.
• Review aging reports and identify collection trends, risks, and problem accounts.
• Provide analytical reporting on collections and receivables to internal stakeholders.
• Track collection activity and maintain accurate account notes.
• Reconcile customer accounts and investigate outstanding balances.
• Coordinate with billing and accounting teams to resolve invoice-related issues.
• Assist with incoming payment research and proper application.
• Prepare recurring AR and collection reports.
• Identify opportunities to improve collection processes and cash flow.
• Support month-end activities and other Accounting & Finance projects.
