Job summary

LCS Financial Services Corporation is seeking experienced Remote Collections Specialists to join our nationwide team. This 100% remote role involves negotiating resolutions, arranging payments, and locating borrowers using skip-tracing tools while ensuring compliance with regulations.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in third-party debt collection, strong negotiation and communication skills, and the ability to work independently from a home office.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of third-party debt collection experience.
• Strong negotiation, persuasion, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Proven ability to manage collection accounts and negotiate successful payment arrangements.
• Excellent verbal communication, active listening, and telephone etiquette.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to team goals.
• Professionalism, reliability, accountability, and a positive attitude.
• Working knowledge of applicable debt collection laws and regulations.
• Reliable internet connectivity sufficient for remote work.
• Must reside and work in an LCS-approved state.

Responsibilities

• Managing inbound and outbound collection calls to negotiate resolutions on delinquent accounts.
• Negotiating payment arrangements and settlement agreements based on borrowers' financial circumstances.
• Utilizing skip-tracing tools and investigative techniques to locate borrowers and assets.
• Managing assigned account portfolios and prioritizing collection activities to maximize recovery opportunities.
• Contributing toward departmental performance goals.
• Maintaining accurate and detailed account documentation.
• Delivering professional, respectful customer interactions while navigating difficult conversations.
• Ensuring compliance with applicable laws, policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintaining consistent communication with management and team members while working remotely.
