Job summary

Qualifications

• Preferred - High school diploma or equivalent.
• Required - CPC or CCS-P (Certified Coding Specialist – Physician)
• Required – Demonstrated experience in professional fee coding, including Evaluation & Management (E/M) services
• Preferred - Minimum of two (2) years of professional fee coding experience, prior supervisory experience, Epic experience

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day coding department operations and supervise caregivers.
• Address coding questions and QA audits; monitor KPIs and charge entry timing.
• Interview, onboard, and coach staff; draft and monitor corrective action plans.
• Collaborate with Coding Manager(s) and other departments to meet goals.
