Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a supervisor for the coding department to oversee daily operations, QA audits, and staffing in a fully remote capacity. The role requires CPC or CCS-P certification and professional fee coding experience, including E/M services.

Responsibilities include coaching caregivers, monitoring KPIs, and collaborating with Coding Managers to achieve Medical Group objectives, with extensive use of Epic and related tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• CPC or CCS-P certification required.
• Experience in professional fee coding including E/M services.
• Supervisory experience and Epic experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily coding operations and monitor KPIs such as charge lag.
• Onboard, coach, and supervise coding staff; review timecards.
• Address coding questions and QA audits; drive process improvements.
• Collaborate with Coding Managers and other departments to meet objectives.
• Utilize Epic, Kronos, ServiceHub, and Encoder Pro as applicable.
