Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an Educator/Trainer to deliver and oversee coding education across the Revenue Cycle. You will present coding and documentation education to coders and clinicians, develop training materials, and coordinate both in-person and virtual learning sessions.

Remote work is supported with flexible scheduling. The ideal candidate has recent production coding experience and AHIMA or AAPC certifications, with the ability to travel as needed and work across multiple specialty

Qualifications

• Expert knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT and HCPCS coding guidelines.
• Strong understanding of adult learning concepts and applying them to education.

Responsibilities

• Present coding and documentation education for initial training and ongoing education to coders and clinicians.
• Develop and maintain educational materials, presentations and tools.
• Schedule and coordinate in-person and virtual trainings across the organization.
