Job summary

CommonSpirit is seeking a Coding Auditor and Educator Professional Fee to ensure accurate professional fee coding across the organization. You will apply ICD-10-CM, HCPCS, and CPT-4 classifications, audit charts, and deliver education to coding teams.

You will lead onboarding, develop ongoing training programs on Risk Adjustment, HCCs, MEAT criteria, and communicate regulatory changes to maintain compliant billing practices.

Qualifications

• 2 years PB coder audits, education, and training experience.
• 5 years coding professional fee records experience.
• CPC/CCS/CCS-P or RHIT/RHIA certification required.
• Knowledge of professional fee coding rules and Medicare guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Audit charts to identify documentation gaps and improve accuracy.
• Lead onboarding and ongoing education on Risk Adjustment, HCCs, and MEAT.
• Develop and deploy training programs to keep coding teams current with regulations.
• Collaborate with leadership to plan short- and long-term coding strategy.
