Job summary

Palo Alto Networks is seeking a Domain Consultant for cloud native security to define technical solutions that secure customers’ business imperatives. You will evangelize our cloud security solutions and position Palo Alto Networks as the customer’s cybersecurity partner of choice.

You will collaborate with account teams, present to executives, and lead PoV projects to demonstrate technical wins. This remote role requires travel and deep knowledge of CSPM, CWP, and container security.

Qualifications

• 6+ years technical sales or equivalent experience highly preferred.
• Hands-on experience using IaC software tools (CloudFormation, Terraform, Azure Resource Manager, GCP Cloud Deployment Manager etc) and CI/CD tools (IDEs, GitLab, GitHub, Jenkins, CircleCI, etc.)
• Experience with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud and Oracle Cloud configuration and administration of security features.
• Deep experience in cloud security areas such as CSPM, CIEM, DSPM, AI-SPM preferred.
• Understanding of container and orchestration tech like Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift
• This is a field sales role; travel may be required to meet customers.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with account teams to recommend and develop customer solutions within your specialization area.
• Present to customers as our expert at all levels in the customer hierarchy.
• Lead and support customer demonstrations showcasing our value proposition.
• Scope and lead PoV projects for prospective customers and partners to ensure technical win.
• Drive high technical validation and PoV win rates within your area.
• Architect solutions that strengthen customer security posture and simplify deployments.
• Document High-Level Design and Key Use Cases for value realization of Palo Alto Networks solutions.
