Syms Strategic Group (SSG) seeks a Production Support Engineer to provide high-level operational support for complex application cloud systems. The role emphasizes troubleshooting, incident management, and documentation, with direct customer interaction and on-call responsibilities.

The candidate should have 8+ years in systems engineering or similar, experience with AWS/Azure, Linux/Windows, scripting, and CI/CD tooling. This is a 100% remote U.S.

Qualifications

• Experience with AWS and/or Azure Cloud
• Proven track record of managing large-scale production systems
• Strong proficiency in Linux/Unix and Windows
• Scripting for automation (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
• Experience with IaC and CI/CD tooling
• Security/compliance in production environments

Responsabilités

• Provide day-to-day operational support of cloud-based systems
• Develop solutions to routine technical problems
• Document and report outages and issues
• Assist with maintenance/installation of computing infrastructure
• Collaborate with customers and teams to resolve incidents
• Implement continuous improvement in IT processes
