Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Quality Abstraction Manager to lead a team responsible for clinical data synthesis, distribution, and analysis aligned with enterprise quality initiatives. The role partners with facility executives and service lines to drive improvement opportunities across the system.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related field and 3+ years in quality/registry roles, including 1 year in supervision.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of experience in quality, abstraction, registry with 1 year of supervisory experience leading a team; healthcare environment.
• Knowledgeable and proficient in the use of software, data quality, data management, and presentation.
• Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required: ~ Bachelor’s Degree in healthcare related field

Responsibilities

• Manages a team to provide clinical synthesis, distribution, and analysis of internal and comparative data in support of system strategic, operational and quality projects.
• Oversees data submission to CMS, Payor, and Accreditation entities and ensures compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Directs and executes multiple, concurrent projects with minimal supervision and develops validation processes for data accuracy.
