Job summary

MES Solutions is seeking a self-driven RN or LPN to join as a Clinical Quality Assurance Nurse Auditor. The role is 100% remote with a Mon-Fri EST schedule.

You will evaluate clinical information, write and review reports, and ensure high-quality, compliant documentation across medical record reviews, coding reviews, and peer reports. Requirements include a nursing degree (RN/LPN) with 5+ years of related experience, strong medical terminology knowledge, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Associate degree in nursing or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with medical terminology, medications, medical specialties and treatment protocols required.
• Experience in the insurance industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate clinical information and write/review reports including medical record reviews and coding reviews.
• Perform QA review of peer reviews, correspondences, addendums or supplemental reviews.
• Ensure evidence-based rationales accompany recommendations and meet client specs.
• Verify references are current and from reputable journals.
• Maintain professional report content, formatting and appearance per standards.
• Identify inconsistencies and contact reviewers for clarification.
• Assist in resolving customer complaints and QA issues.
• Ensure ERISA/state mandates are followed.
