Job summary

MES Solutions is seeking a self-driven RN or LPN to join our remote Clinical Quality Assurance team. You will oversee peer review reports, ensure alignment with client agreements and regulatory standards, and maintain high-quality documentation while protecting confidentiality.

The role is 100% remote with a Monday–Friday schedule, occasional weekends/holidays. Requires clinical nursing background, strong English skills, and proficiency in MS Office; two years of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Active RN/LPN nursing license required.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of two years clinical or related field experience.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, medications and labs.
• Able to perform basic math and dosages with decimals.
• Typing speed at least 40 WPM.
• Proficient with MS Word, Outlook, Excel and internet search.
• Excellent English usage, grammar, punctuation and style.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities.
• Maintains confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality assurance review of peer review reports and related documents.
• Provide clear, evidence-based rationales for recommendations and determinations.
• Ensure client instructions and specifications are followed and questions addressed.
• Cite clinical references and verify sources are current and reputable.
• Maintain high quality content, format, and professional appearance of reports.
• Verify board specialty review compliance per client specs and state mandates.
• Ensure reviewer attestations and confidentiality of evidence.
• Ensure provider credentials and signatures meet requirements.
• Identify inconsistencies and obtain necessary clarifications.
• Assist in resolving customer complaints and QA issues as needed.
• Comply with ERISA/state mandates at all times.
• Provide management with QA insights and process improvements.
• Promote efficient use of company resources.
• Participate in training and other duties as assigned.
