Job summary

MES Solutions is seeking a Clinical Quality Assurance Coordinator (RN/LPN) to review peer reports and ensure accuracy, compliance with client agreements, and regulatory standards. This 100% remote role aligns clinical expertise with quality control across cases.

The position is Monday–Friday 10:00am–6:30pm EST with occasional weekends. Requires active nursing license, at least two years of clinical experience, strong medical knowledge, and proficiency with Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Qualifications

• Active RN/LPN nursing license required.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program or related medical experience; bachelor's degree preferred.
• A minimum of two years clinical or related field experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must possess strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, medications and laboratory values.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality assurance review of peer review reports, correspondences, addendums or supplemental reviews.
• Ensure evidence-based rationales support recommendations and determinations.
• Verify client instructions and specifications are followed and questions addressed.
• Ensure reports have clinical citations and current references from reputable medical journals.
• Verify board specialty review and provider credentials and signatures are compliant.
• Identify inconsistencies and obtain necessary clarifications from Peer Reviewer.
• Assist in resolving customer complaints and QA issues; ensure ERISA/state mandates are followed.
• Provide guidance to management on quality, availability, and compliance with policies.
