Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Pharmacy Informatics Specialist to leverage clinical expertise and informatics skills to optimize the medication EHR and workflows. The role focuses on developing informatics plans, data analyses, and system builds to advance evidence-based practice and patient safety.

You will collaborate with clinicians, leadership, and external partners, ensuring regulatory compliance and effective communication of complex informatics issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy is required.
• EPIC Willow certification within 6 months of start date.
• PGY1 Pharmacy Residency and PGY2 Pharmacy Informatics Residency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop informatics plans and data analyses to advance evidence-based practice.
• Design and implement EHR builds to improve medication safety and clinical practice.
• Consult with providers and leadership to align information systems with clinical workflows.
• Support regulatory compliance and data analytics for performance improvement.
