Job summary

Navitus Health Solutions is seeking a Specialist, Clinical Engagement to join our team as a key member of the Clinical Engagement Center. The role delivers telephonic clinical engagement through MTM, health education, and care coordination to improve medication adherence and patient engagement.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician certification and state license where applicable.
• 3 years of pharmacy support experience or clinical program execution.
• Strong pharmaceutical knowledge to support inquiries and processes.
• Empathetic, patient-focused communication across diverse populations.
• Ability to follow workflows, scripts, and escalation protocols.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliant documentation.
• Collaborate within cross-functional teams to meet service levels.
• Participate in and support compliance program objectives.
• Maintain cooperative and respectful interactions with colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Independently conduct MTM and Stars Adherence initiatives within protocol.
• Proactive patient outreach to improve engagement and adherence.
• Coordinate patient care for timely medication access and therapy continuity.
• Collaborate with CEC team to ensure high-quality services and outcomes.
• Educate patients on program benefits and adherence and intervene as needed.
• Facilitate prescription renewals and day-supply requests with providers/pharmacies.
• Identify barriers to access and connect members to appropriate resources.
• Apply professional judgment and escalate when guidance is needed.
• Adhere to protocols and regulatory requirements, escalating complex cases.
• Support workflows and take ownership of tasks to improve department performance.
• Other duties as assigned.
