Job summary

Veeva Systems seeks a Strategy Leader to grow the Clinical Data business with the world’s leading pharmaceutical companies. The role requires familiarity with clinical research and data flow and the ability to drive adoption of new operating models across pharma/biotech, CRO, and technology partners.

The Clinical Data Strategy Leader will connect with clinical and data management leaders globally, deliver strategic plans, and work with the sales team to identify and win opportunities to grow the

Qualifications

• 10+ years in clinical research or healthcare data flow.
• Experience in a product company in a customer-facing role.
• Industry data management and/or consulting experience.
• Experience in sales, account management or business development desirable.
• Strong communication, creative thinking, and presentation skills.
• Ability to hold meaningful conversations with business and IT executives regarding Clinical Data introduction, adoption, and scaling.
• Deep understanding of clinical data industry trends.
• Understanding of global product development, clinical trial process, regulations.
• Willingness to travel for customer meetings and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Grow the customer base for Clinical Data.
• Develop and execute the Clinical Data vision for sponsors.
• Manage relationships with key stakeholders within and adjacent to Clinical Data.
• Use professional networks and relationships to assist with adoption.
• Develop value-oriented materials oriented to sponsors.
• Provide thought leadership and sales support to teams in driving adoption of Clinical Data products.
• Provide business and technology guidance to the product team in support of new or enhanced features and functionality in Clinical Data applications.
• Keep current with industry trends and engage customers addressing their business challenges.
• Present at industry conferences, lead webinars, and author articles for industry publications.
• Other special Clinical Data projects as assigned.
