Job summary

Howard Head Sports Medicine is seeking a Clinic Scheduler for PRN/remote work. The role involves answering calls, coordinating scheduling with providers, and handling messages while ensuring HIPAA compliance.

The successful candidate will have 2 years of administrative or medical office experience, familiarity with medical terminology, and experience with scheduling software. Remote positions may be based outside Colorado.

Qualifications

• 2 years administration or similar experience preferred.
• Previous medical office experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, HIPAA compliance and OSHA rules and regulations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and field questions about scheduling with providers.
• Direct calls to appropriate parties and distribute messages.
• Schedule appointments using the electronic health record (EHR) system and coordinate with patients, providers and locations.
