Job summary

UNOPS seeks a Project Management Support Specialist to lead demand-driven technical assistance for climate-resilient infrastructure across Caribbean SIDS, ensuring high-quality delivery and regional partnerships. The role requires travel for on-site deployments and readiness to work in a remote-first delivery model.

The incumbent will manage plans, budgets and reports while embedding sustainability and gender considerations into project life cycles. Retainer modality may apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Business Admin or related with 7+ years relevant experience required OR
• Master’s degree in related field with 5+ years relevant experience required.
• Project management certification (PRINCE2, PMP) desired.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of complex infrastructure projects with regional stakeholders.
• Develop, implement and monitor project plans and baselines.
• Ensure quality control for management outputs (documents, reports, etc).
• Identify risks and provide mitigation actions to senior management.
• Prepare regular project and financial reports per partner requirements.
• Coordinate with government counterparts and procurement teams.
