Job summary

UNOPS Barbados Country Office seeks a Contract Management Specialist for the regional RIISE Facility. The role supports climate-resilient infrastructure projects across Eastern Caribbean SIDS, delivering specialist advisory, risk management and failure analysis.

The position is remote-first with required on-site travel to Caribbean countries as needed. Required qualifications include a Master’s or Bachelor’s in a related field, with 5+ years of contract management experience and FIDIC training.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree with relevant experience in contract management or procurement.
• Experience in public works/large infrastructure projects preferred.
• Knowledge of FIDIC contracts and international procurement standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide contract management advisory and interpretation for assignments.
• Analyze cost, time, and technical aspects of contracts and changes.
• Conduct site visits and coordinate with government counterparts.
• Manage disputes, claims, and supporting documentation.
• Generate detailed reports and ensure compliance with deliverable standards.
