Job summary

National Digital Trust Company (In Organization) is seeking a Client Onboarding Associate to lead onboarding for institutional clients, including account setup, KYC/AML reviews, and training. You will coordinate with Operations, Compliance, Risk, Legal, and Technical teams to ensure smooth onboarding of digital asset custody, trading, and lending services.

The role requires 5+ years in onboarding or related banking/custody functions, strong knowledge of digital assets, and excellent

Qualifications

5+ years of Institutional Client On-Boarding, Client Service, Trading, Settlement, and/or Bank/Custody experience.
2+ years of experience with digital assets, blockchain, and on-chain activities (staking, forking, voting).
Understanding AML/KYC and financial market requirements.
Ability to design and implement new operating procedures to improve performance and efficiency.
Experience with multiple communication channels and integrated technical systems (voice, video, chat).
Experience delivering highly automated onboarding processes using technology for regulatory compliance at scale.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
BS/BA in Business, Computer Science or related field.
Superior verbal, written, and communication skills.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Team oriented and ability to network with peers.
Self-motivated with initiative; capable of influencing others.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end client onboarding from account opening to qualification and conversion into the bank platform.
Collaborate with Business Development to transition prospects to active clients.
Manage onboarding inquiries and issues, including after-hours engagement as needed.
Coordinate with Operations, Compliance, Risk, Legal, and Technical teams for client setup and on-chain activities.
Maintain expert knowledge of custody, trading, lending, and issuance services.
Engage with clients through integrated communication and the bank's ticketing tool.
Ensure AML/KYC requirements are completed with Compliance.
Establish client governance structures and authorized signers.
Deliver training on custody, transfers, trading, and lending services.
Handoff onboarding to Client Coverage Desk, Trust, and Relationship Management teams.
Allocate and prioritize resources to minimize bottlenecks.
Foster a client-focused culture while ensuring regulatory compliance.
