Job summary

Reserv is seeking a Claims Manager to lead a multi-line claims team, focusing on technology-enabled efficiency and regulatory compliance. You will guide claims handling from intake to settlement, leverage analytics for performance, and partner with clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Active insurance adjuster’s license (home state)
• Bachelor’s degree in insurance, business administration, or related field; CPCU/AIC is a plus
• 10+ years of insurance claims management in multiple lines of business (property, GL, auto)
• 5+ years of remote management experience
• Comfort with technology to evolve claims systems and processes
• Strong attention to quality, accuracy, and confidentiality

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of adjusters handling multiple lines of business
• Achieve goals and overcome obstacles
• Implement best practices for claims handling: intake, investigation, evaluation, settlement, recovery
• Monitor claims data to identify trends and drive process improvements
• Align team with client expectations of the claims process
• Serve as a resource for escalated claims
• Ensure accuracy of claim reserving
• Develop strategies to mitigate fraud and ensure regulatory compliance
• Foster a productive work environment and professional development
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex issues
• Build relationships with policyholders, agents, brokers, and legal representatives
• Prepare and present comprehensive claims reports and loss mitigation advice
