Job summary

TCI Transportation is seeking a hands-on Claims Manager to lead daily claims operations, develop in-house adjusters, oversee our third‑party administrator, and personally negotiate complex claims requiring experienced judgment.

This working manager role sets expectations, strengthens processes, and maintains compliance while staying involved in investigations, reserves, and settlements to resolve claims early and fairly.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of commercial auto liability claims experience, incl. catastrophic and fatality losses.
• Trucking or transportation background with fleet operations knowledge.
• Proven record of resolving bodily injury claims through direct negotiation.
• Experience managing adjusters, a claims team, or a third-party administrator.
• Litigation management experience, including counsel strategy and budgeting.
• Strong knowledge of state claims regulations, fair claims practices, and multi-state compliance.
• Active adjuster license or ability to obtain within 60 days.
