Encova Insurance is offering a full-time summer internship for 2027, based in Charleston, WV, with hybrid or remote options for candidates in approved payroll states. The role requires a 40-hour work week and current enrollment with at least 60 credit hours completed.

This program provides hands-on experience in claims intake, customer service, and insurance operations, plus networking, mentorship, and professional development within Encova’s RISe Elite internship framework.

Competenze

• Must be currently enrolled and have completed at least 60 credit hours with an accredited college or university.
• 40-hour work week requirement for the internship.
• Experience with Microsoft Office or similar tools is preferred.

• Receive initial claim information from customers via phone, email, or fax.
• Provide information on loss reporting options and determine applicable coverage.
• Assist with on-boarding new associates and document loss details in the system.
• Respond to requests from internal and external customers and document interactions.
