Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an accredited college/university and have completed at least 60 credit hours.
• Available to work at least 40 hours per week during the summer internship.
• Must reside and be eligible to work in the United States in approved states.

• Able to work in a team, multitask, and stay organized.

Responsibilities

• Receive initial claim information via phone, email, fax or electronically.
• Provide information about loss reporting options and determine policy coverage.
• Onboard new associates with leadership guidance and onboarding.
• Analyze claim information to decide whether further information is needed.
• Document facts of loss in the computer system.
• Respond to internal and external requests via phone, email, or correspondence.
• Interpret coverage and issue claim decisions for assigned claims.
• Review and update intake processes and procedures.
• Other duties as needed.
