Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking an Inside Channel Systems Engineer to work with our West Coast channel partners in a remote/teleworker capacity. You will serve as a technical advisor across switching, wireless, routing, security, and AI-native networking, enabling partners to design, validate, and position solutions.

In this role you will develop partner capabilities, provide inside presales support, review designs and BOMs, and deliver enablement sessions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of networking systems engineering experience, presales or partner-facing role.
• Hands-on experience designing, deploying, or supporting enterprise networks.
• Experience working with channel partners, resellers, or distributors.

Responsibilities

• Develop the technical competency and sales readiness of smaller partners.
• Provide remote technical presales support throughout the opportunity lifecycle.
• Help partners qualify opportunities early so they spend their time on deals they can win.
• Assist with discovery, architecture, product selection, sizing, and configuration.
• Review solution designs, bills of materials, and technical proposals.
• Teach partners how to build their own bills of materials, configurations, and reference designs.
• Answer partner questions on SKUs, licensing, and ordering, and help arrange access to remote demo and lab environments.
• Deliver webinars, demonstrations, workshops, office hours, and enablement sessions.
• Help partners position HPE Networking against competitive solutions.
• Support customer presentations, demonstrations, and proofs of concept.
