Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or related field.
• 5+ years of technical presales experience with a major storage vendor or storage‑focused channel partner.
• Deep hands‑on expertise in pitching, demoing and architecting complex storage solutions.
• Knowledge of virtualization (VMware or KVM) and at least two application stacks (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle or SAP).
• Hands‑on working knowledge of at least one major public cloud (AWS, Azure or Google Cloud); certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build partner technical advocacy and enablement, and become the go‑to resource for HPE storage.
• Grow partner engineers’ ability to position, demo and design HPE storage solutions through enablement sessions and labs.
• Identify technical champions within partner organizations and support their progress through certifications and program requirements.
• Represent HPE at partner events, tech days and customer briefings.
• Translate partner and customer needs into architected solutions with clear technical alternatives and gaps.
• Deliver presentations and demos linking HPE capabilities to business outcomes.
• Support PoCs and ensure configurations meet requirements.
• Develop competitive strategies with partners to win against competitors.
• Maintain accurate pipeline information and ensure smooth handoffs from sales to implementation.
