Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Channel Presales Technical Architect to advocate for storage solutions within partner ecosystems. You will guide partner teams, architect solutions, and drive pipeline growth across Southern California from a remote/teleworker model.

You will collaborate with sales and engineering to design demos, run enablement sessions, and ensure seamless handoffs to implementation. Candidates should have 5+ years of presales in storage and cloud exposure.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
5+ years of technical presales experience with a major storage vendor or storage-focused channel partner.
Deep hands-on expertise in pitching, demoing and architecting complex storage solutions.
Demonstrated knowledge of virtualization, including VMware or KVM-based environments, and at least two application stacks (such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle or SAP).
Hands-on working knowledge of at least one major public cloud (AWS, Azure or Google Cloud); certifications preferred.
Expertise across the full data lifecycle: block, file, backup, ransomware protection and related solutions.

Responsibilities

Partner technical advocacy and enablement: build relationships with partner teams and enable them to position and design storage solutions.
Solution architecture and opportunity support: translate needs into architected solutions and support PoCs.
Pipeline and growth: collaborate with account teams to generate and progress storage opportunities and expand footprint.
